Food Security Efforts Growing Throughout Arizona!
The Food System Connections quarterly newsletter is funded in part by Jewish Family and Children's Service of Tucson through a grant from MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger. (MAZON, founded in 1985, is the Hebrew word for "food" and responds to hunger in the US and abroad.)
The newsletter provides outreach and education about food security by showcasing practical models of food self-sufficiency activities. The focus is on food security activities in Arizona but future issues will include best practices in food security policies throughout the US, Canada and the world. The newsletter is published by Community Food Connections.
